About this site and our source rules

  1. Sources: statute text, court gazettes and guiding cases, official notices and authoritative media come first; social media and short videos are leads only and are marked "unverified".
  2. Statements, not opinions: this site lists facts, statute text, sources and verification status, and does not comment on whether a case or a law is reasonable.
  3. Verification: without a judgment or court notice we never write "the court ruled ...".
  4. Names of the parties are not reproduced.
  5. The Chinese statute text controls; our excerpts and summaries may contain errors.
  6. Not legal advice; free; no lawyer advertising or referrals.

Corrections and complaints

If you find an error in a statute, fact or link, or believe content infringes your rights, please open an issue on GitHub Issues (a GitHub account is required). Verified corrections are made and dated; rights-related complaints are handled first.

Updates

Source links are checked daily; broken links are marked "needs manual check" and replaced as soon as possible.

General information only, not legal advice. For specific questions consult a practising lawyer, a notary office or a court.
